Explanation
The ascent to Hochoetz initially leads over the Kühtai Pass road, a section of the Ötztal Cycle Marathon, which is notorious among cyclists. At the bus stop, turn in the direction of Klingenburg and follow the gravel path to the Acherberg Alm and on to the Hochoetz panorama restaurant. A detour to the Bielefelder Hütte is highly recommended. At the hut, the highest point of the tour is reached at 2,104 meters. A magnificent panoramic view of the Ötztal and the Piburger See opens up. Before you plunge back down into the valley, it is advisable to check the brakes. Arrived in Ochsengarten, the biker branches off again onto the Kühtaier Landesstraße and rides the asphalted path back to Oetz
