Zirbenwald
Did you know that the Zirbenwald in Gurgl is 300 years old, 20 hectares in size and therefore a true rarity? A themed trail leads you through this natural monument with information boards bringing you closer to the forest and its inhabitants.
Rotmoostal
With its rock formations, the Rotmoostal is reminiscent of the Scottish Highlands. In summer, the landscape is characterised by wildflowers and streams, while in winter it’s a snow-covered idyll.
Ochsenkopf
At 1906 meters above sea level, you have a wonderful view over Gurgl. The hiking trail to the Ochsenkopf starts in Obergurgl and takes you to the top in around 20 minutes.
Ötztal Nature Park
