Ötztal Cycle Trail
The valley-wide, around 50 km long cycle trail offers an active way for families to explore the various destinations throughout the valley on two wheels. After all, many of these destinations lie right on the edge of the path or can be reached with just a few extra pedal strokes. Rest areas and e-bike charging stations along the route invite you to take a breather and recharge your batteries.
The Ötztal Cycle Trail leads from Haiming to Sölden. This means you can either take the bike bus from Gurgl to Haiming, then cycle into the valley towards Sölden and finally take the bus back up to Gurgl. Alternatively, you can take the bus to Sölden and cycle out of the valley and from Haiming take the bus back to Gurgl. Of course, you can also cycle the Ötztal Cycle Trail in stages either to stop at your desired destinations along the way or to match your physical condition.
