Natural wellness in summer & winter

The 1961 metre-high Ochsenkopf is a little off the beaten track. All year round you will find peace, idyll and a wonderful view over the region. An indulgence for all the senses.

Winter on the Ochsenkopf

The Ochsenkopf offers wonderful nature experiences during the winter months. From its summit, you have a fantastic view over the snow-covered Gurgl.

Tree houses
The combination of nature and comfort. The houses are architecturally positioned around the trees and thus integrated in the middle of the forest. One of the two houses is located directly at the edge of the forest and thus offers a view over the village, while the second is located at the end of the forest above the Ötztaler Ache. Here you can listen to the rushing of the stream and enjoy the view of the gorge.

Summer on the Ochsenkopf

Experience high alpine meadows, wildflowers and natural wellness on the Ochsenkopf. This mountain is a special highlight for all nature lovers.

Forest bathing
What the sea is to one person, the forest is to another: a place of relaxation. That's why you'll find several platforms on the Ochsenkopf with designs reminiscent of a bathtub! They make ideal spots to read a book or simply listen to the gentle rustling of leaves.
