Very nice hike of medium difficulty from Oetz to the viewing point "Seejöchl" above Lake Piburg. The hike begins in the center of Oetz. You walk along the river and cross the Brandach Bridge after about 300m. From there you turn left and follow the path to Kohlstatt, from there you follow the signs to Seejöchl. The Rudolf Schock path has been renovated and widened. The path climbs quite steeply in places, therefore hiking poles are recommended as support in winter. To reach to the viewing platform, you have to branch off from the main path. The view over the wintry "Piburger See" and the snowy mountains on the opposite side of the valley are a reward for the effort. Again through the forest you reach the hamlet of Piburg and from there the path branches off to the right towards the Piburgersee, which you will follow for a while. After the restaurant Seehäusel, turn right and follow the path until you reach the forest track again. This time you cross the path and follow it to the spectacular bridge "Wellerbrücke". From there you follow the path back to Oetz.
