Experience the wonderful hike along the Panorama Trail in Sölden, which takes you via the hamlet of Unterwald towards Stiegele and then further above the hamlet of Innerwald to Weiler See. Along this trail, you can enjoy a magnificent panorama of Sölden and at the same time admire the special features of nature both in the forest and along the forest roads. Enjoy the spectacular views and the fresh mountain air on this unforgettable adventure.

How to find your treasure? There are small caches (treasure boxes) hidden along the route. Each cache contains a sheet of paper on which one of six secret numbers and/or one of two colors can be found. Write these numbers and colors on your treasure map. All those who have found all caches and therefore know the secret numbers in the matching colors can open the locks of the treasurechest at Information Sölden. The route is approx. 5 km long, 300 altitude meters, it takes about 2.5 -3 hrs. You can easily reach the starting point by Zentrum Shuttlein a few minutes.

    Turn-by-turn directions

Start at the center shuttle in Sölden. Turn right from the exit and walk a short distance up the road, then walk under the shuttle along Unterwaldstraße. At the end of the road (the first cache can already be found here) a hiking trail leads to Innerwaldstraße. Cross this road very briefly and then continue along the hiking trail behind the single house to the "Stiegele". The field path leads you up via Serpetinen and the second cache follows right next to a tree. On the left you can see the Gaislachkoglbahn, on the right the hamlet of Innerwald, Außerwald and many meadows. Almost at the Stiegele, you will find the ice climb to the panorama trail. Here you first walk a very short distance on a narrow hiking trail before reaching a road. Walk along this almost flat path towards the meadows. A sign shows you that the route is now slightly uphill and you continue to follow the hiking trail and leave the road. Cache 3 follows on the way up. You now continue through the forest, the wider hiking trail leads you once through denser forest and then it becomes looser again and you can enjoy the panorama above Sölden.

Along the panorama trail, which is always slightly uphill, you hike above Sölden and, as the name suggests, enjoy the panorama again and again.

You can enjoy the view from one of the benches.

Don't forget to keep looking for the caches. The fourth can be found on a somewhat flat hiking trail. At cache 5 you are already looking towards Timmelsjoch/Gurgl and the view here is magnificent.

After cache 5, the hiking trail leads you across a pasture used as a ski slope in winter. A fence follows here to fence off the grazing animals. A bench also serves as a clue as to where cache 6 is hidden. After the grazing area, the trail continues steadily downhill, followed by more fences and a bridge over the Rettenbach stream. You can also turn off beforehand, but then you won't be able to find cache 7, as it follows immediately after the bridge and you won't be able to retrieve the treasure without it. So cross the bridge and head back into the forest. The wide forest path leads you further towards the See district.

Above the See district, you can then turn right. Here you walk downhill to the lake in order to get back to the shuttle from there and, of course, to recover cache 8 at the Unterwaldstraße junction.

At the See district, you reach the asphalt road. Keep right and cross the Rettenbach a second time. Keep left after the bridge, past the small wooden house, a short distance up the road and then turn right again at signpost H into Unterwaldstraße. You will find the eighth cache right at the crossroads. After the search, walk back to the shuttle center or take the hiking trail back down into the valley.
