From Obergurgl over the Pirchhütter Achbrücke (stele 6) in serpentines up to the Soom junction (stele 5). Along the way into the valley, past the Haglen enclosure (stele 4). Over the highest point of the loop trail, below the Lehnerkar, down to the Küppelealm (stele 3). Here you go to the Beilstein (stele 2) and the Zirbenwald bridge to the arolla pine forest natural monument (stele 1). Via the Zirbenalm back to the center of Obergurgl.

Travel safe and comfortable with the train to the Ötztal Bahnhof train station. Last stop and exit point is the train station Ötztal Bahnhof. The car drive to the Ötztal valley. Situated in Tirol, the Ötztal valley set off in southerly direction and is the longest side valley in the Eastern Alps. The journey with the car leads you through the Inntal valley to the entrance of the valley and further on through the valley. Among the toll motorways you can also use the country roads.
